Course overview
AI is changing how 3D work gets done: concept art in minutes, rough models from a single image, and textures from a text prompt. This course teaches you to use these tools inside a real Blender pipeline, then clean up and render the results to a professional standard for games, product listings and ads.
What you will learn
- AI concept art: Generate characters, props, environments and product ideas with Midjourney and Adobe Firefly, then turn them into clear model sheets.
- Blender essentials: Modelling, UV unwrapping, materials, lighting and rendering in Blender, so you can fix and finish anything AI produces.
- Image-to-3D and text-to-3D: Create base meshes from a single image with Meshy and Tripo, then retopologise and clean them for games and animation.
- AI textures and materials: Generate textures and PBR materials from prompts and photos, and apply them in Blender and Substance.
- Product and jewellery visualisation: Studio lighting, turntables and lifestyle scenes for e-commerce listings, catalogues and social media ads.
- Game-ready assets: Polygon budgets, LODs, baking and exporting assets to game engines such as Unity and Unreal.
Tools you will use
Blender (free) · Midjourney · Adobe Firefly · Meshy · Tripo · Adobe Substance 3D · Photoshop
We teach the tools studios and agencies use and that are quickest to learn, mainly Adobe Creative Cloud and leading AI services, and point out free alternatives where they are just as good. The tool mix changes as the technology moves on.
Your portfolio project
Design and render a set of three game-ready assets and a product campaign (turntable video plus four still renders) from AI concepts to final images.
