Course overview
AI video tools can now turn a script and a few reference images into cinematic shots. This course teaches you to direct them: plan a story, generate consistent shots, add voice and music, and edit everything into a film that holds attention. You finish with a short film and a reel you can show to clients and studios.
What you will learn
- Story and pre-production: Develop an idea into a script and shot list with ChatGPT; build mood boards and storyboards with image generators.
- Image-to-video and text-to-video: Generate shots with Runway, Kling, Google Veo and Adobe Firefly video; control camera moves, lighting and style.
- Consistent characters and worlds: Keep faces, costumes, locations and colour consistent from shot to shot using reference images and seeds.
- Voice, music and sound: Create voice-overs and dialogue (with consent), generate music and sound effects, and mix them cleanly.
- Editing and finishing: Edit in Adobe Premiere Pro, fix artefacts, grade colour in DaVinci Resolve, add titles and export for cinema, YouTube and reels.
- AI ethics and rights: Copyright, licences, consent for faces and voices, and when to disclose AI use to clients and audiences.

We teach the tools studios and agencies use and that are quickest to learn, mainly Adobe Creative Cloud and leading AI services, and point out free alternatives where they are just as good. The tool mix changes as the technology moves on.
